• You are welcome to consult with our NEIS Co-ordinator regarding your NEIS application
• Submit your application and all relevant details to Murray Hume Business Enterprise Centre Inc.
• Your application will be assessed and you will be contacted within 3 working days after your application is assessed.
• If you are successful in the selection interview, you will be offered a place on the next NEIS training program and will be officially registered as undertaking NEIS training with Centrelink. You will continue to receive Centrelink benefits for the duration of the course.
• At the end of the training period you will be invited to present your business plan to the NEIS Advisory Committee (made up of government representatives and local business people). If your business plan is assessed as viable by the committee, you will be offered NEIS allowance and mentor support for twelve months as you establish and run your new business. This offer is made by way of an official NEIS participant Agreement with the Commonwealth Government.
