 Our Vision "Murray Hume Business Enterprise Centre is the leader in the provision of business advisory and related services necessary to sustain and improve potential and current small business in our region" The Murray Hume Business Enterprise Centre (MHBEC) has been servicing the needs of small business intenders or established small/medium business owners for over twenty years. MHBEC is focused on providing high quality business advisory services to businesses in the South West of NSW and North Eastern Victoria.
- MHBEC act as a focal point and “one stop shop” for small business in the region;
- Objectives include providing quality advice for the full range of businesses, from those intending to start a business through to existing businesses that have identified a need for external assistance;
- MHBEC act as reference point for various Government and professional services available to business;
- Identify business training needs and where possible conduct short courses to satisfy those needs.
The services provided by MHBEC are partially funded by the Australian Government, the Centre is contracted by the NSW Department of State and Regional Development (DSRD) to provide business advisory services to NSW based established and intending business owners in the region.
MHBEC is partnering with Wodonga TAFE, to form the region’s largest NEIS panel provider. NEIS is a comprehensive program of assistance, providing participants with accredited training in small business, advice and mentoring.
